VIPER Friends - Get Ready for a

“Fun Time In Philly”

January 12, 2006

HAPPY NEW YEAR FELLOW CLUB MEMBER!

I hope you all had a nice holiday and that 2006 has treated you well so far.

It’s 54 degrees here in Mansfield today.  As I write this note, I can hear the HISSSSSSSSSSSS of my yellow snake in the garage.  It’s hard to refrain from uncovering it and taking a spin!  However, the cinders on the highway from a recent snow storm will deter me from doing that!

As promised in my Christmas note, I am forwarding the plans for our “After the Holidays” party.

In December I made a phone call to club member Al Berman (Chester Heights PA) asking if he and Dave Kavanagh (Ridley Park PA) could put to together our “AFTER THE HOLIDAYS” gathering in the Philadelphia area.  Sounds like Al & Dave, along with their wives, have put together a “FUN TIME IN PHILLY!”  Here’s the scoop!

DATE:  Saturday, February 11, 2006 (Some members will be traveling in on Friday to spend the evening at the hotel both Friday and Saturday.)

LOCATION:  RADISSON HOTEL VALLEY FORGE, 1160 First Avenue, King of Prussia PA  19406

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:

FRIDAY NIGHT – Those that are spending the evening at the hotel will dine at one of the restaurants nearby, possibly within the King of Prussia Mall.

SATURDAY

PHILADELPHIA INTERNATIONAL AUTO SHOW (www.phillyautoshow.com)

Those that wish to attend this show will gather at the hotel on Saturday morning at 9:30 AM.  Transportation and tickets will be provided to attend the show. You will be on your own for lunch at the show.  The return to the hotel is scheduled for 2 PM.

KING OF PRUSSIA MALL (www.kingofprussiamall.com)

If you prefer to SHOP, the hotel provides complimentary shuttle transportation to the extensive King of Prussia Mall every hour.  The Southeast Pennsylvania Orchid Society will be hosting their "Orchid Show 2006" at this location as well.

HOSPITALITY SUITE – The PA WV Viper Club Hospitality Room at the hotel will open at 4 PM for social hour.  At 5 PM a club meeting will be conducted.  We will have some nice door prizes to give out.   Following the meeting we will proceed to a nearby restaurant for dinner.

COST:  There will be a $20 charge per member couple.  You will be responsible for your hotel room, and dinner on Saturday evening (if applicable).

OVERNIGHT ACCOMMODATIONS:  The RADISSON HOTEL VALLEY FORGE (www.radissonhotel.com), has offered us a great rate of $99 for a single/double room for Friday and/or Saturday evening.  Please call the reservations desk at the hotel (610-337-2000 or 888-267-1500) to reserve your room.  Be sure to identify yourself as a member of the DODGE VIPER GROUP.  Important Note – The Radisson will hold the room block only until Janaury 26th.  They will continue to accept reservations from attendees after that date at prevailing room rates, subject to availability.  Cancellation must be made 72 hours in advance.

RSVP:  Please RSVP to Ginger by February 8th if you plan to attend.  Cell phone 607-426-0837 or email vipergts@ptd.net.

It is my hope that many of you will plan to join us for this “FUN TIME IN PHILLY!”  You are free to join us for any or all of the festivities.  Thanks to our “Philly Friends” for putting together what sounds like a great weekend.

Ginger and I will be attending the VCA President’s meeting in Scottsdale AZ, on January 20 & 21.  Therefore, we should have some exciting news relating to VCA 2006, as well as VOI 9, to share with you in Philadelphia.

I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Safe Traveling,

Denny

PS - Due to the rising costs in the mailing services, I encourage those that have email to please advise me (vipergts@ptd.net) of your email address so that future newsletters, announcements, etc. can be sent via email.

(There will be no additional reminder for this event!)
