Christmas Newsletter 2005

There isn’t much to report on this quarter so this will be short .

The weather was beautiful for the cruise/poker run to the  PA Grand Canyon.  Every one was pleased with the cruise and Ginger and I were pleased to organize this fun event for our members.  At the completion of the cruise, Al Berman’s comment was, “the scenery just doesn’t end here, it’s beautiful.”  I guess when you live in Tioga County PA;  you just take the beauty of the area for granted.   After listening to all of traffics problems and road conditions in some of your areas, I have learned that I should not take my “country living” for granted.   I’m glad so many enjoyed my hometown area.  Those that attended will find their photo in the Winter 2006 edition of VCA Notes.   There appears to be  some interest in doing this event in 2006.  Stay tuned !

The annual VCA Regional President’s meeting will be held in Scottsdale AZ on January 20th in conjunction with the Barrett Jackson Auction.  Ginger  & I will be  attending.    We should have news regarding this year’s VCA  events to report to you all after this meeting.

By now I ’m sure you’ve read that VOI 9 will be held in Las Vegas, September  24-28.   More information will be forwarded to you as it becomes available.

Our  annual “After the Holidays” party will be held in the Philadelphia area in early February.  I’ve tapped some members in that area to organize this event.   More information will be sent out as soon as the plans are finalized.

As we wrap up this year,  I would like to thank all those that came out to participate in the various Viper events this year.  Ginger & I enjoyed spending time with all of you.  Special thanks are extended to Rege and Donna Kort for assisting us in our first year as your officers.  We look forward to the events planned for 2006.  If you have an idea for an event, or would like to host an event, please let me know.

From our Viper garage to yours,  we  wish you  all a safe, healthy, happy 2006!

Denny (& Ginger)

PS  -  On the reverse side of this newsletter is “A Viper Christmas Carol” provided (and I am assuming written) by the VCA Northeast Zone Director, Jeff Pilgrim, Quebec CANADA.  For those that have not had the opportunity to ever meet Jeff, he is one SUPER guy.
